MUS 2290 - Survey of Music Literature I

Credits: 2 hrs
This course will increase student’s awareness of the elements of music through ongoing discussion of and listening to the literature of great composers from various periods. A significant unit of this course will be devoted to the study of African-American music and non-Western music. (Two hours per week.)
