MCM 3301 - Law and Ethics of Mass CommunicationsCredits: 3 hrs This course offers an overview of legal limitations and privileges affecting the functions of print and electronic media – including libel, obscenity, freedom of expression and the right to privacy. Also considered are advertising and antitrust regulations, copyright, access to the press, and broadcast rules and regulations. Prerequisite(s): MCM 2325.
