DPT 6215 - Applied Spanish for Physical Therapists

Credits: 2 hrs

The course will focus on development a clinicial vocabulary comprised of medical and other terminology, phrases and questions necessary for interviewing and assessing a patient. An emphasis will focus on student confidence in using proper language skills to interact with native Spanish speaking patients while providing proper patient care. This course will adopt a hybrid format utilizing online delivery accompanied by application of language skills in a clinic setting. Prerequisite(s): Professional student in Physical Therapy
