SPA 1311 - Basic Spanish for Beginners

Credits: 3 hrs

This basic course is designed for students with no previous knowledge of Spanish. Students will be introduced to the step-by-step learning of Spanish, beginning with the basics of Spanish spelling and pronunciation. In addition, students will be introduced to Spanish-speaking cultures through short texts and videos. This course is not open to heritage Spanish speakers (a person raised in a home where Spanish is spoken as a primary language.) Offered Fall, Spring, and Summer terms.
