CHE 1103 - Freshman Seminar/CHE (Chemistry)

This is a seminar course designed for entering freshmen interested in majoring in chemistry. The students will be introduced to the academic requirements in chemistry as well as University policies and procedures. The focus of the course will be on becoming familiar with library, computer, and other resources at the University. Major emphasis will be placed on time management, basic problem solving, critical thinking, data analysis, and technical writing. An introduction to career opportunities in chemistry will also be provided. (1 one-hour lecture and 1 one-hour recitation period per week.)
