BIO 2101 - Principles of Biology I Laboratory

Credits: 1 hr.
This laboratory course is designed to illustrate basic biological principles covered in BIO 2301 for increased comprehension. With emphasis on the scientific method, the laboratory exercises provide a hands-on approach through experimentation, observation, and analysis. The course also provides exposure to selected practices, methods, and instrumentation typically found in a biology laboratory and examines current societal issues for the development of scientific literacy. General Education Course that Satisfies SLO:Critical Thinking; AK: Natural Sciences (One laboratory session per week.) Corequisite(s): BIO 2301
