CHE 2311 - General Chemistry ICredits: 3 hrs This course embodies a study of elementary chemical principles, including a study of the nature, properties and uses of many inorganic elements and compounds, and the fundamental laws and theories concerning their reactions. Emphasis is placed on the practical application of elements studied. General Education Course that Satisfies SLO: Critica; Thinking; AK: Natural Sciences (Three one-hour lecture periods per week.) Prerequisite or co-requisite: MAT 1311 or higher. Corequisite(s): CHE 2111
