BIO 3334 - Molecular Biology and Biotechniques I

Credits: 3 hrs
This laboratory course provides detailed instructions on the performance of many methods and techniques used in traditional biotechnology industries. Acceptable laboratory practices are discussed. Biochemical and recombinant DNA technologies are emphasized. (Two three-hour laboratory periods per week) Prerequisite(s): A grade of C or better in BIO 2303, CHE 2112, and CHE 2312 and either BIO 3147 and BIO 3347 or BIO 3231 and BIO 3232.
