OCC 6305 - Occupational Therapy Adult Practice 2Credits: 3 This course is designed to give students a basic understanding of general patho-physiology, evaluation, intervention planning, and implementation for adults experiencing dysfunction related to the following systems: cardiovascular, respiratory, lymphatic, digestive, urinary, and endocrine. Students will be given the opportunity to develop competency in evaluation, intervention strategies, and documentation of outcomes for the adult population in various practice settings. Prerequisite(s): Physiological Factors of Occupation, Neurological Basis of Occupation, Movement Components of Occupation, Foundations of Occupational Therapy, Analysis of Occupation.
