BIO 2101 - General Biology I LaboratoryCredits: 1 hr. This course complements the companion lecture and is designed to illustrate basic biological principles covered in BIO 2301 for increased comprehension. With emphasis on the scientific method, the laboratory exercises provide a hands-on approach through experimentation, observation, and analysis. The course also provides exposure to selected practices, methods, and instrumentation typically found in a biology laboratory and examines current societal issues for the development of scientific literacy. General Education Course that satisfies SLO:Critical Thinking; AK: Natural Sciences (One laboratory session per week.) Corequisite(s): Recommended: BIO 2301
