This course is a survey of the structure, organization, and functions of the legal and political processes of American national government. Emphasis is placed upon the theoretical foundations of the American constitutional system. General Education Course that Satisfies SLO: Critical Reading; AK: Soc/Beh Science; CuT: Civic Knowledge Prerequisite(s): This course is a prerequisite for all other political science courses. Students must earn a “C” or better in this course.
