BIO 4308 - VirologyCredits: 3 hrs. A comprehensive course covering the involvement of eukaryotic and prokaryotic viruses in disease and biomedical research processes and including: classification of viruses, differences between eukaryotic and prokaryotic viruses, viral cultivation, viral life cycles and viral vectors. (Three one-hour lecture periods per week) Prerequisite(s): A grade of “C-” or better in BIO 2301 and either BIO 1315 or BIO 2302.
