CLS 3303 - Clinical Microbiology LectureCredits: 3 hrs. This course will provide an introduction to clinical microbiology. The content of this course will include the morphology, biochemistry, molecular biology, epidemiology, pathogenesis, physiology and treatment of medically significant bacteria, fungi, viruses, protozoa and parasites with an increased emphasis on identification. This course will stress the commonly seen microbes in the clinical laboratory. Prerequisite(s): Admission to the CLS Professional Phase, CLS 2301, CLS 2103 Corequisite(s): CLS 3103
