MGT 4399 - Strategic ManagementCredits: 3 hrs This is a course in policy formation and policy implementation that integrates the separate functional areas of business expertise. The strategic management process is used as a framework. Key topics covered are organizational vision and mission, environmental analysis, and the processes of strategy formulation, implementation, and evaluation and control. Through the use of case studies, companies and not-for-profit organizations are studied, and recommendations made for future direction. In-depth analyses of real-world companies and industries, and/or a business simulation game may be used. Prerequisite(s): MGT 3322, QBA 3370, MKT 3331, FIN 3351.
