TRC 3340 - Documentation and Assessment in TR

Credits: 3 hrs.

This course provides students with the opportunity to learn the basic individual client assessment and documentation knowledge and skills for the therapeutic recreation/recreation therapy (TR/RT) professional. Specific assessment tools will be addressed as well as assessment process, methods and techniques. Knowledge and skills needed for documentation in TR/RT practice will be addressed. The use of appropriate terminology and charting skills are included as well. Prerequisite(s): TRC 2312 or permission of academic advisor
