BIO 3115 - Introduction to Neuroscience LaboratoryCredits: 1 hr. This laboratory course is designed to be team-taught by WSSU faculty with expertise in neuroscience-related subjects. It will examine principles of neuroscience ranging from the molecular and cellular to the behavioral and cognitive. Topics covered include brain dissection, voltage- and patch-clamp techniques to record neural action potentials and ionic current, computer simulation of neural circuits, human EEG recordings and cognitive lab exercise.
