CHE 3330 - Biophysical Chemistry

Credits: 3 hrs


This course provides an introductory presentation of theoretical and practical aspects of thermodynamics, kinetics, quantum chemistry and spectroscopy. The emphasis is on understanding of physical concepts and their applications to chemical and biological systems, not their mathematical derivations. This course is not intended for BS chemistry majors.

  Three lecture hours per week Prerequisite(s): ‘C-’ or higher in MAT 2317, CHE 3326 and PHY 2321
