DPT 6400 - Applied PathophysiologyCredits: 4 hrs This course provides an understanding of the pathophysiological principles of tissues and systems of the human body commonly encounterred in the practice of physical therapy. Special emphasis is placed on understanding the physiology of the cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, and endocrine systems. In addition, this course will highlight identifying signs and symptoms indicating diminished capacity of these systems due to disease and/or disability in patients. Prerequisite(s): Semester 1 in Physical Therapy Program
