BIO 2311 - Anatomy and Physiology I Credits: 3 hrs In this course, students study the body as a whole by identifying surface landmarks, body cavities, and viscera. Consideration of the relationship between structure and function of individual cell types and the body tissues precedes the study of the following systems: integumentary, skeletal, muscular, and nervous. Periods Per week: (Three 50 min or two 75 min lecture periods per week.) Pre-requisite(s): A grade of “C-” or better in BIO 1311 or a satisfactory score on the Biology Placement Test Recommended.
