MAT 1312 - Pre-Calculus I Credits: 3 hrs This course introduces techniques for solving inequalities involving absolute value, polynomials, and rational expressions. Included are discussions of functions and their graphs for linear, quadratic, and general polynomials, rational functions, exponentials, and logarithms. General graphing techniques and the conics are also discussed. Pre-requisite(s): MAT 1311 or a satisfactory score on the mathematics placement test.
