BIO 1302 - Plants and Civilization Credits: 3 hrs This course explores the fascinating ways in which plants have an impact on the quality of human life, from the perspectives of science, history, economics, and sociology. The relationship between plants and people is discussed in terms of how and why plants are used for food, medicines, clothing, and other products. This course is open to all non-science majors.
