BIO 1113 - General Biology I Laboratory Credits: 1 hr This course complements the companion lecture and is designed to illustrate basic biological principles covered in BIO 1301 for increased comprehension. With emphasis on the scientific method, the laboratory exercises provide a hands-on approach through experimentation, observation, and analysis. The course also provides exposure to selected practices, methods, and instrumentation typically found in a biology laboratory and examines current societal issues for the development of scientific literacy.
