BIO 4147 - Molecular Genetics Laboratory Credits: 1 hr. This course deals with the application of basic molecular biology techniques and protocols to study and manipulate DNA molecules. The course emphasis is on restriction analysis and mapping of DNA, construction and screening of recombinant plasmids and transformation of bacteria with plasmids, through organized laboratory activities. Each student is expected to actively and consistently take part in all laboratories. Corequisite(s): BIO 4347.
