JUS 2301 - Introduction to Justice Studies Credits: 3 hrs An overview of contemporary criminal justice systems, with a special emphasis on the historical development, structure, and goals of the justice system in the United States. The course will explore the various branches of the justice system and their functions. It will also examine the traditional responses to the society’s effort to control crime and administer justice. Pre-requisite(s): None.
