MAT 1323 - Topics in Contemporary Math Credits: 3 hrs This course serves as the core requirement for non-STEM majors. Topics include basic algebraic concepts, sets, statistics, probability, mathematics of finance, and problem solving. Pre-requisite(s): MAT 1306 or a satisfactory score on the mathematics placement examination given by the university. This course may not be used as an approved elective for mathematics majors.
