ART 3370 - Special Topics in Art History Credits: 3 hrs. This course involves research and creative activity in art history focused on a specialized area or topic. Areas and topics to be considered will be determined by the availability of qualified faculty. Enrollment will be by the approval of the instructor. This course is designed to allow students to work in areas of art history outside of traditional course offerings. This course is designed for students interested in creative exploration in preparation for graduate level work. This course will fulfill an Art elective requirement at the 3000 level. Students will refine their ability to research and critique meaningful works of art. Students will be expected to articulate their ideas to others as well as respond to visual work and pursue research. Pre-requisite(s): Permission of Instructor Hours Per Week: 3 hrs.
