REL 1305 - Introduction to Religious Studies Credits: 3 hrs This course prepares students for more advanced coures in religion by studying competing and complementary approaches prevalant in the contemporary academic study of religion. These approaches will include, but are not limited to: (1) Theological Approaches, (2) Historical Approaches, (3) Social-Scientific Approaches, (4) Literary Approaches, and (5) Critical Approaches.
