PHT 5210 - Acute Care

This new course will provide orientation to acute care issues. The curriculum will focus on introducing the student to the essential issues for safe, ethical, and efficient patient treatment in hospitalized patients, as well as critical care and Intensive Care Unit environments. Clinical decision making skills specific to this highly complex clinical environment will be addressed.
