DPT 6315 - Foundation of Autonomous Practice

In this course core professional values and professional roles in patient/client management are explored. Disablement models are applied to guide physical therapy diagnosis and screening for underlying pathology. Principles of evidence-based practice and outcomes measurement are introduced. Prerequisite(s): Admission to the transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy program
