Ethical questions as to what is an “equitable distribution” versus what is an “efficient economic system” are examined in detail. Students will be exposed to both critics and defenders of capitalism. Various ethical perspectives will be used to evaluate whether capitalism is moral. Case studies of contemporary ethical dilemmas will be used to demonstrate the usage of these perspectives.
