RHS 4120 - Internship in Rehabilitation Studies Credits: 12 hrs The purpose of the internship class in rehabilitation studies is to prepare rehabilitation studies students for professional practice with individuals who have physical, mental, and/or emotional disabilities. The undergraduate program blends academic training with clinical experiences. The internship allows the students to continue to transfer theoretical knowledge acquired in the classroom into community-based practice under supervision. Students will work under the direct supervision of a professional on site. Pre-requisite(s): Completion of rehabilitation core program as well as concentration area and senior standing.
