SOC 3352 - Methods of Social Research Credits: 3 hrs This course is designed to introduce students to research methodology and the place of research in the social sciences. It starts with an overview of how research ideas are developed and how the development of ideas goes hand-in-hand with the development of research design. The course covers the technical question that have to be considered when planning and carrying out research, questionnaire design, analyzing data, and preparing a research report.
