SPA 4301 - History of the Spanish Language

Credits: 3 hrs
This course will survey the evolution of Spanish from Latin, tracing its phonological, morphological, syntactic, semantic, and lexical variations. Extensive readings will be required. Special attention will be focused on regional dialectal differences in the Hispanic world.
Pre-requisite(s): SPA 3333  or SPA 3335
