BIO 3366 - Genetics Credits: 3 hrs. This course examines basic concepts of prokaryotic and eukaryotic genetics. Mechanisms underlying organization, transmission, expression and variation of genetic material are presented on selected topics. Mendelian inheritance, linkage, mapping and mutation are discussed. Three hours of lecture and one hour of recitation per week.
Pre-requisite(s): A grade of “C-” or better in 1) MAT 1311 - College Algebra and 2) both BIO 1314 - General Biology II and either BIO 1315 - Introduction to Biotechnology or BIO 2310. Banner Schedule: Fall
