EXS 3308 - Environmental Health Credits: 3 hrs This course introduces students to the principles, domains, and applications of environmental health. Students will learn methods. to identify, assess, and control enviornmental health riskd to prevent or lessen their negative impact on health and well-being. Students will be introduced to concepts related to enviornmental toxicology and occupational health and safety. Emphasis will be placed on enviornmantal epidemiology, enviornmental policy and regulation, and personal footprints. Pre-requisite(s): A statistical analysis course (EXS 2310 or equivalent), BIO 1305 - Human Heredity, Genetics and Society or BIO 1313 - General Biology I or BIO 1340 - Human Biology and Disease or BIO 2304 - Scientific Investigation of Diseases or BIO 2311 - Anatomy and Physiology I Student Learning Outcome: Critical Thinking, Scientific Literacy and Quantitative Literacy Banner Schedule: Fall
