SPE 5322 - Instructional Strategies for Teaching Students with High Incidence Disabilities Credits: 3 hrs. This course will focus on strategies and techniques required for meeting the diverse needs of students with mild disabilities in elementary, middle, or secondary classrooms. Emphasis is placed on accessing the general education curriculum through inclusion strategies and through individualized interventions and modifications including the use of technology. Candidates will integrate the knowledge of characteristics of learners from SPE 5321 - Understanding Students with High Incidence Disabilities to design developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities based on assessment.
