EDU 5347 - Working Collaboratively with Professionals and Families

Credits: 3 hrs

This course provides students with theory, general principles, and procedures for fostering collaborative partnerships and how parents and teachers may use community agencies to enhance student development. Additionally, the course emphasizes techniques used in interviews, conferences, and referrals by school personnel with parents of children with and without disabilities and those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
