SPE 5305 - Fundamentals of Special Education

Credits: 3 hrs
This course is designed to provide the historical and legal foundations of special education and the educational implications for the teacher and exceptional child. The course will explore the characteristics of individuals with special needs, the history of special education, current legislation, inclusion, and other topical issues in the field of special education.
