BIO 1313 - General Biology I

This course emphasizes basic biological principles, including cell structure, chemistry and function, metabolism and genetics. BIo 1313 is specifically designed for biology and chemistry majors and provides in-depth treatment of molecular and cellular concepts. The course provides the background needed for biology majors as they progress to advanced courses.
Pre-requisite(s): Test out of or complete RED 1311 - Reading and Study Skills.
