CHE 4146 - Biochemistry II Laboratory Credits: 1 hr This second part of a two-semester biochemistry is designed for biochemistry concerntration majors. the lab will focus on the theory and practice of modern techniques of biochemistry, including protein expression, purification, and analyses by electrophoresis and various spectroscopic or biophysical methods. Students will also conduct a project-based experiment on select topic from defined categories, prepare a detailed plan using the scientific literature, perform the experiments independently, and present their findings in a formal report.
