ECO 3315 - Economics of East Asia Credits: 3 hrs Students will learn about the historic, social and economic dimensions of industrialization, agriculture, investment, human resources, and trade in Chine, Taiwan, Singaporem Hong Kong Japan, Vietnam, and Korea. More than half of the course is devoted to the four major CHinease economics (China, Taiwan, Singapore, and Hong Kong) as well as the impact of the Chinese dispora on nearby countries (Vietnam, Korea, and Japan) due to cross-cultural interaction. A major paper is required as part of this course. Pre-requisite(s): ECO 2312 - Principles of Macroeconomics
