QBA 3370 - Business Analytics

Credits: 3 hrs

This course introduces descriptive analytics, predictive analytics, and prescriptive analytics techniques as data-driven approaches to business decision making. Topics to be coverd may included data queries, data visualization, data mining, forecasting, predictive modeling, machine learning, validation, simulation, decision analysis, and optimization. Ethical and responsible development and deployment of artificial intelligence tools will be emphasized.
Pre-requisite(s): QBA 2325 - Business & Economic Statistics or MAT 2326 - Elementary Statistics or equivalent statistics course
