TRC 3350 - Youth and Adolescent Adventure Program Development Credits: 3 hrs A theoretical and practical investigation of structured outdoor experiences as vehicles for facilitating human growth and development is the major focus of the course. Use of adventure based activities and approaches, particularly for youth at risk, will be examined. Connections to a variety of service provision models, such as residential youth settings, after school programs, and other milieus for adolescents, will be explored. Field trips and experiential involvement may be required.
