WRI 1301 - Introduction to Academic Writing Credits: 3 hrs In this course, students will create texts that explore multiple genres, variant voices, and different rhetorical situations. As they are guided through the full writing process, students will practice analysis, synthesis, reflection, source integration, and the basics of documentation. This course encourages students to take ownership of their writing by emphasizing and honoring the value of students’ voices and purposes for writing. Student Learning Outcome: Written Communication
