RHS 4310 - Independent Study in Rehabilitation Counseling

Credits: 3 hrs

Independent study allows the student to explore a topic of interest under the close supervision of a faculty member who has agreed to direct the student’s work. The course may include directed critical reading, Capstone projects, applied work, assisting the faculty member with a research project, carrying out an independent research project, or other activities deemed appropriate by the supervising faculty member and the department. All independent studies work, and experiences will culminate in a formally written paper.
Pre-requisite(s): Permission of faculty sponsor required; senior standing
