TRC 4320 - Field Placement II

Credits: 3 to 9 hrs


This course is to provide students with a second opportunity to obtain cgain experience in authentic situations is critical to application of knowledge and skills learned in the traditional classroom. Through this course, students can gain experience in a supervised field placement at a health or human service organization. Students will complete a field placement at one approved site for the selected number of credit hours (3, 6, 9) based on individual need. All contact hours for the class will be at the site. Reflective journals, time logs, service projects, performance evaluations, and other assignments will be done based on the authentic experience at the site. The site supervisor will work with the academic supervisor to develop the plan for each student. One, two, or three other classes may be taken at the same time as the field placement.
