FLS 3320 - World Literature, Culture and Film

Credits: 3 hrs
World Literature, Culture and Film is a special topic course and the continuation of FLS 2301 - World Language Films . The students will not only read literary pieces and watch films that adapted from these literary pieces, but also become deeply aware of cultural, social and economic themes depicted in those works that have shaped our diverse societies in different ways. The course will be offered in English and will be taught in rotation by each professor or co-taught in their area of expertise, meets the curriculum requirement of SLO critical reading, Area Knowledge of Foreign Language and Culture, and under the theme of Globalization.
Pre-requisite(s): FLS 2301 - World Language Films  or permission of Instructor
