NUR 4513 - Adult Health Nursing 2 Practicum


This focused client care experience emphasizes concepts, skills, and principles of nursing and interprofessional collaborative practice gained through all prerequisite courses. Students will integrate the Clinical Judgement Measurement Mode to connect theory to clinical practice. This focused client care clinical experience simulates an entry-level work experience. Learners will provide patient-centered care to adult clients with complex health alterations. Students will demonstrate evidence-informed practice, provide person-centered care, integrate interprofessional collaborative practice, compassionate care, ethics, and cultural competence. Opportunities are provided for the student to further develop in the role of the professional nurse. Practice experiences will occur within diverse adult health settings.
Pre-requisite(s): Completion of all junior-level courses, admission to RN-BSN option, or by special permission.
