MHA 6307 - Integrative Study

Under the direction of a faculty preceptor and an on-site preceptor, students complete a major project as part of their plan of study. The major project may be completed in their own organization or in another health care environment approved by the course faculty. This course is a practical capstone for the curriculum. It builds on previous courses allowing the students to expand their knowledge and provide problem solving resources to the field. Students should integrate knowledge, attitudes and skills developed during their previous years in the program. Students will demonstrate competence in exploring and solving complex, significant issues in health care and present findings/solutions to the faculty and their colleagues.
