The program of study for the Special education: General curriculum consists of a minimum of 20 semester hours. This program alone does not qualify students for teacher initial licensure in North Carolina. Hours completed, however, may be used to satisfy initial licensure requirements in an approved program.

SPE 3335 - Problems and Characteristics of Students with Behavior Problems
SPE 3310 - Classroom Management for the Exceptional Child
SPE 3302 - Methods for Teaching Mathematics to Students with Special Needs
SPE 2312 - Transition Planning and Service Delivery for Students with Moderate Disabilities
